On Saturday, April 20th, 2024 Spare Key welcomes you back for our annual 2024 Groove Gala, presented by Network Title and hosted at The Renaissance Depot in downtown Minneapolis! Santa, cookies, and toys oh my! It’s almost time for “Cookies with Santa”! Each year, Spare Key hosts this FREE event for families in need around the Twin Cities! This year, the celebration is taking place on Sunday, December 10th from 2-4pm! From Santa and crafts to toys and snacks, there is something for kids of all ages!

This is the second year Spare Key has attended this tournament, and we were SO excited to see the returning faces of our partners and friends in Missouri who support Spare Key’s mission of helping families facing real hardship pay real bills in real time! This tournament sells out each year, but there’ still opportunities to get involved and show your support to Spare Key! With Woodstock as the theme, a silent auction full of goodies, and an Ultimate Golf Raffle, it is sure to be the grooviest golf tournament of the year! The Spare Key team has been working hard to create a NEW, exciting, and interactive summer event for our supporters. We are proud to announce that we came up with the PERFECT summertime activity! A cornhole tournament! On August 29th, Spare Key will host the FIRST EVER ‘Bounce and Not Break’ Bags Tournament presented by TitleSmart, Inc.! Spare Key loves partnering with local companies to continue to raise awareness and funds for the families we serve. The perfect example of this is our partnership with The Loop at their annual golf tournament and this year is The Loop’s 15th Annual Tournament. The day is bound to be a blast! The Saint Paul Hotel: Where the holiday season is celebrated not only once, but TWICE a year! On July 25th from 3-5:30 pm The Saint Paul Hotel is welcoming the community to celebrate "Christmas in July"! The day will be filled with local vendors selling handmade items, small bites & beverages and even a chance to say “Hi” to the Spare Key team! Growth takes time – ask any business owner. And nonprofits are no different! When Spare Key launched our Help Me Bounce platform back in 2019, we knew we had launched the solution to helping exponentially more families throughout the nation facing medical crises.But that’s when the hard work really began. We needed to register to help families in more states throughout the nation and that takes time. Then, we needed to ensure families actually KNEW about Spare Key and how we can help. We don’t have all the answers yet, but we are continually learning and growing.
