Help Me Bounce Provides a Lifeline to Families Facing a Medical Crisis and Allows Donors to Make a Direct Impact
Applicants
Families apply for aid on Help Me Bounce and are approved based on our program guidelines. To begin their campaign, families create funding goals indicating what they are raising money for, for how much, and for how long.
Families then populate their profile with their story and their profile image. Once they are approved and their profile is live, families are able to blog and share their page with their network!
Donors
Donors have the ability to search for a family they know, or to find a family that tugs on their heartstrings - whether it's a family in their community or someone with a medical crisis that is near and dear to them, we are putting the decision in the hands of our donors.
Donors will then be able to directly impact that family by determining how their gift will be used based on that family's funding goals.
Spare Key's Role
Spare Key makes payments directly to the lender or servicer for each funding goal, so donors have 100% assurance that 100% of their donation will go exactly where it's intended.
Our goal with the Help Me Bounce platform is to help thousands of families "Bounce and Not Break" during a medical crisis. By driving "crowds" to the site, we will give our families access to a network of donors that want to help alleviate the financial stress that follows a medical crisis.
Not only is Help Me Bounce meant to be a source of financial support, but also a network of hope and encouragement as families face the difficulties of a medical crisis. By continuing to invest in building out this platform, we aim to give families every kind of support they need to help them take care of their loved ones.
Since 1997, we have been hard at work serving families with financial assistance.
We are proud and privileged to have been able to serve thousands of families with millions of dollars in financial assistance during that time.
Our motto, "No matter the illness. No matter the injury. No matter the income. We help families Bounce and Not Break," has been our guiding force from the first family we helped back in 1997.
The Help Me Bounce Program allows us to do just that.
This powerful platform combines crowdfunding with Spare Key's direct financial support to help leverage social media and broader marketing tactics to raise more funds to help families cover their most pressing financial needs.
Additionally, the Help Me Bounce Program provides a real-time blogging feature for families that allows them to share the progress of their family member's medical situation with their friends and family.
As we continue our mission of helping families "Bounce and Not Break," we are mindful of the unique challenges facing many non-profits, including our own:
