Hello, my name is David Zarco Contreras, and I find myself reaching out to share my situation and seek assistance during an exceedingly challenging period for both my family and me. I was the primary provider for our household, diligently working to support my wife, Alma Torres, who lovingly dedicates her time as a stay-at-home mom. Together, we have always navigated the responsibilities of caring for our home and nurturing our family.
Recently, I was given the shocking news that I have colon cancer, and due to my illness, I am now unable to work. Let me assure you, this not only has caused damage to my health but also has put us in a very insecure financial situation. Without my income, we struggle with paying the rent or even covering our essential bills. This has been a huge burden weighing upon us, and day by day, it is getting extremely difficult to make ends meet.
We are parents of four children, and our youngest, age 9, has inherited the same genetic condition that I carry, known as Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAPT). Although he does not have cancer, this condition places him at risk and demands ongoing medical attention to avert potential future complications.
Due to the urgent need for financial support, I am in dire need of help. My illness, concern for my youngest child's ailing health, and my inability to provide for my family have become an overwhelming burden to carry.
