Siya is a young girl currently being treated for leukemia. She will require many months of treatment which will be in the hospital. The plan for her continued treatment is dependent on her response to the chemotherapy and she may require additional kinds of treatment. Siya's parents have to take time off work unpaid due to her treatment requirements while also caring for their infant child, Siya's sibling.
