We brought our son into the ER because we thought he was constipated. When they did an x-ray of his bowls they noticed a little fluid in his left lung. To rule out pneumonia the ER room decided to do a CT of his chest. In doing so they found a large tumor hanging below his aorta and between his heart and spine. It was pushing against his left lung which inturn caused the fluid in his lung. Upon discovery of this the ER doctor sent us to the children’s hospital in the twin cities that has the best professionals in the state that specialize in this. I have laid in my sons hospital bed with him every night while the days are filled with tests, biopsies, and scans.
