The Sowoudji Family

My name is Akossiwa Sowoudji, I am 52 years old. I battled and survived my first breast cancer diagnosis in 2014. I have been in remission since then, but in November 2023, a mammogram result noted the breast cancer returned. I underwent surgery on January 31st, 2024, double mastectomy. I am a single mother and have been without a job since December 28th, 2023 because of a back injury I sustained. Due to the back injury, cancer, and surgery, I have not been able to work and am looking for financial support to make ends meet. Being without a job and not being able to afford basic necessities has been very distressing. This assistance would greatly help me and my family in an attempt to heal, physically, emotionally, and mentally. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy.
