The Sbai Family

My sister Is a Nurse who was affected by Covid-19 and a secondary lung infection. Shortly after was diagnosed with HfpEF (an exercised induced heart failure) and pulmonary hypertension. Along with autonomic dysfunction and o2 peripheral uptake impairment. She is being followed by specialists at the Mayo hospital in Rochester, MN. She is a single mom with two sons. She has not been able to work since November 2021 and has exhausted all PTO and finances at this time. She is currently on two medications that are in clinical trial for this type of heart failure. Though her medical insurance covers this cost, she does need some assistance in making payments to her landlord for rent, water/trash, phone and car payments. Before my sister became ill she was the one always helping everyone, from strangers to family with anything at any time. I know she would greatly appreciate any help during this very difficult time in her life.
