Mateo was born January 19th at 34 weeks, due to Mother having Severe Preeclamsia. Mateo became very ill with fevers up to 104°. After many tests he was diagnosed with a brain bleed and meningitis. Mateo will be having an extended stay in the NICU. Mateo has excess spinal fluid building up in his brain causing pressure. It's possible a shunt will be inserted to drain the fluid. We live 3 hours from the NICU so Dad has been traveling to see mom and baby on the weekends. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏
