Story
I live in a rural area of Missouri about 75 miles from St. Louis. I am a self-employed Healthcare recruiter. Last year, I was ill from Pneumonia twice and feeling very tired. I was then diagnosed with a blood cancer called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia or CLL. I am currently undergoing chemo infusion treatment at Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, and taking oral cancer medication daily, that lasts 12 months. My treatment has made me very fatigued and unable to work. It has also compromised my immunity that led to being in ICU and hospitalized for over a week in June of this year, due to a bacterial infection.
My husband is disabled and receives Social Security however, it is not enough to cover all of our monthly expenses. He is also unable to help with maintaining our home, and I am not able to keep up with the added chores or able to pay someone to help. We are struggling financially because I am unable to work due to fatigue/side effects of cancer treatment. Thank you in advance for any financial help. Please, keep me in your daily prayers.
