Our Story
I am married and a mother of two. One who is Autistic. In August I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I went through 10 rounds of chemotherapy and then had major surgery. Then I had 2 more rounds of chemotherapy and was finished. I had a ct scan in September and was diagnosed disease free. My next ct scan on December 22 showed 3 small spots and so I’m back on medical leave from my job at Mayo High school since I’m back on chemotherapy.
Family Updates
I am going through round 2 of chemotherapy but not without a fight. On December 22 I had. Ct scan that showed 3 tiny polyps. A few weeks later one caused a partial bowel obstruction and put my in the hospital for a week and a half. I am on HPN which is nutrition through IV every night. I’m on a clear liquid diet until chemotherapy shrinks the polys to open up the obstruction. I’m out of work through this so any help is appreciated. Also prayers are a huge help.
