Spencer was at his hunting cabIn for Minnesota deer hunting opener when he become really sick and was brought to the local hospital. He had a gi bleed and they were not able to treat him, and sent him via ambulance to a trauma 1 hospital in Duluth, MN. His gi bleed caused his body to go into hemorrhagic shock, and the shock caused him to have a seizure. He had to have his heart shocked, and went into acute respiratory failure which required him to be intubated and sedated. The has been on life support since November 10th. His kidneys have been failing due to all of this and he has continuous dialysis running. The Doctors have told us, it’s possible he will not make it through this, which is hard to believe because he’s only 26 years old!

He is young and they’re hopeful his body will win this battle, but he has a long road to recovery. Thank you
