The Naquin Family

Hi, my name is Joshua Naquin. In 2019, at the age of 31, I was diagnosed with stage 3 Diffused large B cell lymphoma. I've been married to my best friend, Sarah, for 15 years, and we have a 10 year old son name Bryson. This diagnosis flipped our lives up side down, which started with losing our first home we worked so hard to get, while waiting for my disability to get approved. Too many hospitals stays due to infection, and after 1 year, my first doctor referred me to New Orleans. I did 3 different chemo phases, but with the last one, I had to stay in the hospital every 3 weeks for 5 days each time. We did that for 4 months, but the cancer was still present.

My doctor referred me to UAB in Birmingham Alabama 7 hours away from home in 2021. We stayed there for 4 months while I did the therapy, creating a financial burden on my family. But, I was feeling so good, in fact, the best I had felt in a long time. Unfortunately, it didn't last long - 3 months later, the cancer is back and this time it's more aggressive and there is a new mass now in my bone. We are waiting on the biopsy to see what is the next treatment will be, but they are saying it will be more chemo and then a bone marrow transplant. I'm so tired, but I will continue to fight this fight. Any funds will help. Thank you.
