The Megan Family

Hello, My name is Ashley Megan. I'm a 38 year old mother of 4. Two girls and two boys. I've been married to my husband for 17 years.
I don't have many hobbies other than my job as a CNA and spending as much time as I can with my kids. I love music and be‌ing out 
in nature. I've taken many trips to national parks here in the states and consider them my "happy place" when I'm not with my kiddos.
I love elephants, bats, raccoons and sloths. One of my goals in life is to get the opportunity to hold a live sloth!

I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer in July of 2022, right before starting my new job as a CNA. It's been very hard financially
for my family and I as I'm the sole provider for the family. I've had a cut in hours at work to help accommodate for treatments and 
appointments as well as having to take addition time off due to illness as a result of the treatments. I'm increasingly worried about
needed upcoming time off as well for surgeries, recovery and appointments since I don't yet qualify for FMLA and I really can't afford
any of my time off to be unpaid.
