I went into the ER on Aug 28, 2021, due to pain in my mid-back and it hurt to breathe. They ran all the heart tests and did a CT scan, where they found a 7 cm mass on my left kidney. On Oct 22, 2021, I had my left kidney removed and it was cancer.  At my 3-month check up, the CT scan showed the cancer had metastasized into my lungs, so I was started on infusions and pills. On Dec 8, 2022, I underwent Lung surgery and removed the lower right lobe of my lung due to spot that was growing. I have been off work Dec 2022. I am still on the infusions and pills every three weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! Update just started back to work a few hours a day and working my way back after having both hips replaced within a 9 month period first one was July 9, 2023 and the second on was Nov 2, 2023.... was able to stop the chemo pills for a brief time from March to August 2024 in which on my August 30, 2024 CT scan they have found that the spots in my lungs have increase in size and a few new ones and then they found a mass the size of a baseball on bone on in the new hip replacement area.  I ended up having radiation on Sept 6th and have now started back on the Chemo pills (lenvima) along with my continuing Keytruda infusion every 3 weeks that have never stopped.  It is becoming harder to breath at times but i just keep pushing my self as there is thing i still want to do and i need to get better so I am good for my son's wedding come May 16, 2025. So i keep telling my self that   "" I  AM NOT DONE YET"""

In the continued chemo care treatment, my thyroid numbers have risen and now I am needing thyroid medicine. Along with barely being able to walk, my hips continue to worsen. I am seeing an orthopedic doctor on April 14th to see if I am a candidate for hip surgery. I am still trying to work my job as I continue to get weaker and continue to do therapy in order to keep moving. Seems like a never ending cycle of events. I am just so ready to be done.
