Hi I'm Michael, 41 years old, and engaged to my fiance Angeline who is 34 years old. In the mix of all the horrible news we have been given in the past 6 months, we were also given the blessing of a child. My fiance and I are going to have our first child that we just found out is a boy. We decided to carry on my family legacy and name him Michae Joseph Gould 3rd. We just hope and pray for a healthy baby most of all.

Shortly after discovering we were going to have a baby and starting all the "baby planning," I was diagnosed with Melanoma cancer stage 2. This has completely rocked our foundation and put us in jeopardy of loosing our home just before our baby is due. From September of 2023 to December of 2023, I I had a severe reaction to the treatment I was receiving, which landed me into the hospital and unable to work. We have not been able to catch up with our rent and utilities because I was the majority of the income in our home. She has been working full-time and I am waiting to get medically cleared to return to work.

We always pay our taxes, we dont steal, we are good people doing the right thing on a daily basis, and we cannot seem to get past this crucial rough patch. We spend every single dollar we have trying to catch up on our rent, our electric bill, which is now over 2,000.00. They will not approve us for food stamps because they say my fiance makes too much money, only making 27k a year which is all spent on rent, utilities, commuting to work, medication, and what little food we can afford. After just one month of missing a payment, they repossessed our which also presents problems all by itself. We just dont want to loose our home, which may happen since we have received an eviction already.

This is extremely unfamiliar territory for us, and if you can help out in any way, that means the world us and brings us one step closer to ensuring that we have a home for our baby. the most so we can get back on our feet. Thank you and God bless

    The Gould Family

    Hello,

We want to thank you for taking the time to read about our family. I'm Michael, 41 years old. I usually work in customer service and/or sale mostly because I enjoy interacting with people and being able to help them in some way is gratifying. When I became to sick to work, I discovered I have a passion for painting. I started off watching Bob Ross, then as I got better I would try to paint for as long as I would have enough energy to do so. I wasnt very good then, but most would say I have turned into an extremely talented painter. My beautiful soon to be wife is 34 years old, and her name is Angeline. She is my absolute rock, anchor, superwoman and, hero. This woman has been there for me promising a future, carrying my child,  supporting both of us the best she can, while being pregnant and having to take care of me when wasnt well enough to take care of myself. She has shown me the type of love that everyone is in search of. I have not told her about this campaign yet and I promised myself I wouldnt tell her unless we at least reached our rent goal, because since the start of this crisis we have had a lot of heartbreaks, misfortunes, curve balls, and speed bumps and I dont want to promise her more "maybes'. Hopefully that makes sense. Angeline's passion is singing, lucky for me she has a beautiful voice and would literally sing to me everyday. It breaks my heart that we are both so stressed out that she cant even find comfort in her passion. I try to be her comfort as much as possible, but its a scary uncertain situation for both of us. We are expecting our first child in August of this year. Which is truly a blessing, but we both understand that we cannot be without a home for our child. Angeline works full-time at Walmart as a team leader. I was previously employed at Bob's Discount Furniture full-time working in sales until I was diagnosed with melanoma that had began attacking my lymph nodes and kidneys. I was let go from my job after becoming to sick to work. Then it was a domino effect, we lost our car first after falling behind one month, and have been trying our best to pay what we are able to pay towards our rent, and bills from what little savings we had, but we unfortunately fell too far behind while I wasn't working. I was finally cleared medically to work part time and get my job back at Bob's, but now we are in jeopardy of loosing everything at the worst time, because we are unable to come up with money fast enough. We have never asked for assistance, because we have both always worked, and We have asked churches, family, the state of Pennsylvania, and nothing is available due to lack of funding or reallocation of funds to different programs and causes. We never dreamed of being in such a desperate situation, when we both work very hard and have always tried to be good people and do the right thing. It's saddening when we both have contributed so much money in taxes that there isnt help available in many places right now. Thank you so much for taking the time to read. We really do appreciate the fact that time was taken to read our story.Any help is a God send. So thank you again for taking the time. God Bless.
