    Injury/Illness
    Immune Deficiency

In March, 2024, my twin Nephews, Torben and Loxley, were hospitalized due to an infection with Chicken Pox. Since then, numerous complications have arisen due to a rare immune disorder called NIK Deficiency. A combination of this deficiency with the relentless infection by VZV have left each of them in need of bone marrow transplants. While this is the goal, each of them are actively fighting the complications that resulted from infection, which has slowed the process and left one of them on life support. Our family would appreciate any assistance as we work with our hospital to fight decreased lung functions, lesions, and other immune issues, bacteremia, etc.

    The Battle Continues

Hello to all who read. I want to say thank you for any donations thus far, the empathy of others is truly heartwarming. I am here to give a quick update; unfortunately, my nephew Torben has passed away a little over a week ago. He fought hard, but there were many additional complications and additional infections to my understanding. His brother, Loxley, continues to fight. His condition remains consistent: not worsening or not improving. Thank you all for your time.
