I lost my job after I reported to HR how I was being sexually harassed by a co-worker
In 2023 I started a job in March doing what I love best working within the construction industry creating CAD drafting plans for millwork for hospitality and commercial projects. With 20+ years worth of experience in this field, I knew this position will fit my skills perfectly. Shortly after my 90 days I was placed under direct supervision of a male project manager. Less that 30 days time this man started telling me how pretty my lips are, how I need to be bent over and even went as far as to text me message telling me my ass needs to be in bed and I am sitting on the breakfast he wants to eat. I went to the General Manager and the HR Administrator. Two weeks later I was fired. The company let me go without justification and my nightmare starts there. Because I felt confident in my job I moved and increase my rent over $1700 from $700 which I was paying in a low rate apartment complex. Since my termination, I have not been able to find job, my rent is behind, my car note is behind, my utilities are behind. I need this help to bounce back from this tramatic experience, the assistance will go directly to my outstanding bills. Helping me bounce back will prevent homelessness for me and my family. I am praying daily for a company to favor my resume and hire me. Applying for all types of jobs at this point I will work as a cashier to keep the lights on. I need your help to bounce back while I am looking for full time work.
