Story
Ethan was first diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma in April of 2018. After two rounds of chemo treatment he was cleared of the cancer at the end of June, 2018. Heather started working at the Hills Beaver Creek High School in September and Ethan returned to life as a new 6th grader. At his 3 month CT scan, the results showed that his lymphoma had returned and spread into the bone marrow and pelvis. Due to a tumor blocking the bladder the kidneys began shutting down and he has undergone daily dialysis since the end of September. Ethan spent 3 weeks in the PICU unit. Ethan has undergone biopsy of the kidneys and is currently receiving another round of higher dosage of chemo. Heather has not been working since September 24, which was the day of diagnosis. Ethan will be in the hospital for the duration of this round of chemo and then will be able to return home. He will continue dialysis until his kidneys are able to return to normal functions.
