Our story is just the beginning. My name is Holden, I'm 12 years old and going into 7th grade. I enjoy being outside exploring, hanging out with my friends, building things and taking things apart. I love playing my VR headset and snuggling with my two cats, Louie and Luna. When I get older, I want to be a general surgeon.
I've been recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hogdkins Lymphoma. Something that started as a little bump, grew uncontrollably into a very toxic disease. I've underwent many tests, scans, surgeries and far to many IV pokes to count plus endless hours of waiting for results.
My family and I have a very long road ahead of us and any support or prayers are very much appreciated. My mother who is a single mom, has been my biggest supporter through it all. She has taken off so many days off work to be by my side but unfortunately it has caused some hard ships on our finances. My mom always says everything will be fine and she will make it work but any support to help her and our family out would be greatly appreciated if not prayers are just as good.
