The Branham Family
Our Story
Judy, a devoted mother to her 2 wonderful children, aged 10 & 8, is the primary breadwinner of her family. Her world was shattered upon learning that her diagnosis of cancer and its subsequent treatment would render her unable to work for at least a year.
Judy has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of acute leukemia known as ETP-ALL. Her treatment plan is rigorous and spans a year, involving intensive chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant. She initially spent a month in the hospital for her first round of treatment and will continue to alternate between hospital stays and periods at home, each lasting a few weeks. Once her chemotherapy is complete, she will undergo a stem cell transplant. The nature of this cancer is particularly challenging due to its high recurrence rate.
In addition to ETP-ALL, Judy has also been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, which, although less aggressive, is incurable. She will need to take oral chemotherapy for the rest of her life. Despite the severity of her condition, Judy remains resilient and focused on her family’s future.
