Hello my name is Amber. I am a 34 year old single mom. I was diagnosed back in 2022 which at first they said it was adenosarcoma cervical cancer. After countless treatments they were able to shrink it. I went into surgery January 2024, they removed whatever they saw that looked like cancer. But they also gave me a ostomy because it looked like I had cancer on my colon. As well as giving me a hysterectomy. I had no choice but to get it but I still struggle with knowing I won't be able to have no more kids or at least give my son a sibling. After surgery I struggled back to health as well as dealing with a new way of life while making sure everything is ok at home and taking care of my son.

A few months later, spots began to show and in July I had another surgery. In this surgery, they removed my gallbladder, was able to reverse my ostomy, remove all the masses they seen and anything they saw or felt like was cancer. I thought I was in the clear. I was taking a chemo pill to make sure everything stays at bay. But last month I got a scan and it showed small spots and now the spots are in my bones. It is hard for me to walk without being in pain. It's like I can never catch a break. It's like I'm tired of being tired. I'm tired of being strong but then I remember who I'm fighting for not only myself but my son needs me and I can't stand to think of me not in his life. It's a struggle to be fighting cancer as well as having bills to pay, supporting a child alone, wanting to create everlasting memories.
