Nolawi, affectionately nicknamed Micah, is a bright and determined 7-year-old boy currently in the first grade. An honor student in his class, he has always stood out for his intelligence and curiosity. He is the second of four children and the only boy, growing up surrounded by three loving sisters. Nolawi has a passion for playing video games and reading books, and his favorite subject in school is math.

Recently, Nolawi faced a life-changing diagnosis: stage 4 Wilms Tumor. Despite the immense challenges, he is fighting like a true champion, showing resilience and courage every day. His strength continues to amaze and inspire us, giving our family the hope we need during this difficult time.

These days, Nolawi spends most of his time in the hospital or resting at home. While he continues his studies remotely, he often shares how much he misses the joy of being in a classroom and learning alongside his friends. He finds online lessons less engaging and dreams of the day he can return to school.

One of Nolawi's greatest wishes is to visit Mario World in Japan—a dream we are determined to make a reality for him. His optimism and enthusiasm keep us motivated as we navigate this journey together.

Since his diagnosis, Nolawi has become more reserved, speaking only with his immediate family. While this change has been difficult for all of us, we are taking things one day at a time, focusing first on his recovery from cancer. We remain hopeful that as his health improves, we can work on addressing his communication challenges.
