Our Story

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my story.

On February 1 2023, my son called and needed some help, his pipes in his house were frozen. There was a door that was stuck shut so i had  the claw side of the hammer wedged in the top of the door, pulling,on  the hammer and it  slipped out and i fell backwards into a concrete hole with pipes in the hole , i was about 2 feet higher than the hole when i fell, I hit so hard it knocked the wind out of me and I couldnt breath for a several seconds. I went to the emergency room and found out i broke my 9th. rib, tore my shoulder, and messed up my back in several different places.    I was sent to a specialist in Bend oregon, where they told me, there were so many things wrong  with my back now , they wouldnt know where to start and also i was told that we are not advanced enough either. Not to sure what that meant. I was told I have 2 option to get an ablation on my back or continue to be on pain pills the rest of my life. I hate pain pills, im a very active person, usually, im a hard worker, I love my job but ive had to let some of my clients go due to not being able to do as much. My sister has helped me a lot free of charge just so my people dont get neglected. I privately take care of mostly elderly and clean their houses, yard work, run errands, doctor appt. pretty much whatever they need. The finacial department called and said they needed $ 370.00 to get this started, because my insurance will not cover this kind of surgery, so i came up with that money, But then the surgery center called me and said i needed to have $ 1300.00 also for a down payment on  the surgery and the 370.00 was for my doctor..And make payments on the remaining I just want my life back. I am so tired of being in pain all the time. I am a single 52 year old and i could really use the help. Please consider.    Thank you Doris Schatz
