On July 5th, 2022, I suffered an injury to my right shoulder and have been out of work since then. I was denied workers compensation, so I am currently receiving short term disability payments, which is just enough to cover utility bills, food, gas, and partial payments on my rent. Recently the company failed to pay me two weeks in a row and severely put me behind on my rent. The doctor has informed me that I will not be able to return to work until after the new year.
