Makayla is an 11 yr old girl who has battled cardio vascular disease since birth. She was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, and has several surgeries to repair the defects. Most recently the surgeons tried to place a melody valve in Makaylas heart but were unsuccessful.  This means she will have to undergo open heart for pulmonic valve replacement and right ventricle repair. While in the hospital the doctors found Thyroid abnormalities. Makayla has also developed Vitiligo, and is currently battling episcleritis. This leads the doctors to believe there is something autoimmune causing difficulties. We are being referred to numerous specialists, and I dont know what the future holds for Makayla or our family. The one thing I do know is that the bills dont stop coming because you have a sick child. I have had to take numerous days off from work to attend appointments and be by her bedside in the hospital. I am going to have to take more time off with all of our new specialists, and her upcoming cardiac procedures. Makaylas siblings are very supportive and hold her hand through it all.  We have adapted to the hospital lifestyle, but I still need to provide for all 3 of them. I am seeking assistance to aid in Makaylas medical issues as well as help keeping my rent and utilities paid for the next couple months while we battle to get my Princess Warrior back to better health.
